This week I decided to watch the movie Project Almanac. Project Almanac is a about a senior, David Raskin, in high school who was accepted to the university of MIT. David was accepted by MIT, but did not get a full ride and so is unable to attend. While cleaning out his basement he finds his father's notes on how to build a time machine. The movie is really relatable in the fact that many would go back in time and change the out come of situations. From this point on he has different adventures with his friends who help build the machine. Rules are made about the machine that are supposed to not be broken at all cost. David of course has a crush on one of his friends so starts breaking the rules to win her over. That is when he learns that there are no second chances. I recommend people to watch this movie. It makes the viewer think and keeps them engaged through the whole movie.

This week I decided to watch the movie "The Intern". This movie was a heart-felt comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. In this movie, a seventy year old widower known as Ben Whittaker signs up for a senior citizen internship. He is assigned to work with the owner of an up and coming clothing website. The owner, who was very busy, did not believe she needed an intern. What she did not know is that she did not just need an intern, but a friend. The movie was very touching. It shows how hard it is to balance family and work. This movie makes people realize that everyone needs a friend, no matter how successful they may be. I would definitely recommend this movie to other people.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower surprisingly had a very good story to it. The movie was released in 2012 and the commercials for the movie did not sell it well. The movie does have many top actors in it that made the story come to life. Emma Watson and Logan Lehman both nailed their roles in the movie. The director's portrayal of high school was mostly accurate. Plus the movie included many actual fears of relationships in high schools. The director, Stephen Chbosky, had multiple stories going on in the movie. The main story overall story was of a freshman surviving through high school, and the not as noticeable story until the end, dealing with molestation. The stories made you want to pay attention to little details. At the end it all tied together and made the movie very well done.
